Horizon, Mayan Mobility Scooter
£7,495.00 – £9,319.00excl. VAT
Probably the best and most powerful off-road scooter in the world.
A British built, incredibly robust and comfortable mobility scooter. All traditional mobility scooters have DC (Direct Current) motor systems, but the Horizon Mayan bucks the trend by incorporating an inverter that converts the DC battery output into AC (Alternate Current). This allows it to provide a level of power and torque unattainable by a traditional DC system. The result is a monster 3750W, 3-phase motor that when coupled with the ‘Mode 3’ upgrade can power the Mayan to an incredible 12mph on almost any gradient for long durations. The extreme power and great ground clearance means you’ll struggle to find terrain it can’t cope with.
Water resistant switchgear, a sealed motor system and an enclosed battery box ensures you’re good to go whatever the weather.
A host of options allow you to build these amazing machines to your own size, shape and specification.

The Horizon Mayan AC Off Road Mobility Scooter is the worlds only genuine 3 phase AC powered production mobility scooter. Although it’s smaller in size than many other 8mph mobility scooters the all terrain Mayan AC has the greatest power advantage by far!
With its 75A/H battery it climbs steep hills without being phased, can travel a distance of 25 miles and carry users up to 65 stone (423 kg).
For off road all terrain use it is unbeatable benefiting from the high torque delivered with the first turn of the wheel. The Mayan AC also has a no roll back function from stationary when pulling away on a steep slope. This also allows for easy steady slow climbing of rough tracks as there is no necessity to keep the speed up to maintain progress. The AC power allows for gentle climbing.
