In most cases, your handrail can remain intact, and your staircase will remain safely walkable. Thanks to the thinnest single rail in the world and our Reverse Drive Technology, this elegant stairlift can even be installed on very narrow staircases. Installation is possible on staircases as narrow as 70cm.

The compact design ensures walkability

The Otolift Modul-Air Smart is ideal for installation on the inside of your staircase. This placement ensures that the stairlift takes up minimal space, and in most cases, your handrail can remain intact. The armrests, seat, and footrest are easy and light to fold away. Thanks to the smart Reverse Drive Technology, the chair can move partially or fully backward, ensuring your knees never hit the wall, even on very narrow staircases.
