The Loopwheels we supply come in two variants, the Urban and the Extreme. While visually very similar, they are designed for different roles.
The Urban Loopwheels are tuned to remove vibrations & bumps during general ‘out & about’ usage around town. They easily cope with anything today’s pavements can throw at them; drop kerbs become nothing worse than a soft bounce rather than the usual impact, making things much more comfortable for you and reducing wear & tear on your wheelchair’s joints, frame and tyres.
The Extreme Loopwheels are made to tackle tough off-road conditions and vastly increase off-road comfort without sacrificing any performance. Severe bumps & vibrations are almost completely negated, allowing you to concentrate more on where you’re going. They’re also especially suitable for use with powered upgrades, such as our Alber E-Pilot.
Both types of Loopwheels are available in either Soft, Regular or Stiff versions to tailor the ride to your preference.

The springs utilise hi-tech carbon composite materials and are available in 3 spring strengths (Soft, Regular and Stiff ), which will allow you to get the best comfort and health protection for your weight and the typical activities that you undertake.
Weighing under 3lbs (1.36kg) per wheel, and removing much more vibration than any other brand of wheels, it is the only wheel you would ever need!
Loopwheels Urban is 25% lighter, 37% more laterally stiff and reduces damaging vibrations by extra 25% compared to Loopwheel Classics.
